Analyse what you hear in this extract in terms of relevent musical features (harmony, melody, rhythm, instrumentation), structural features. (form, phrases, motifs, texture), contextual features (style, time, culture, geography, history)

The instruments used in this piece are violin, guitar, xylophone, latinos weird flutes. This piece could be compared to other serialist artists pieces such as Schoenberg, Berg and Webern.

The rhythm in the piece is sporadic which is irregular instances in other words. This piece is also atonal which means music without a sense of key, by Schienberg and others in the early 1900s for example. The selection of instrument is quite unexpected and possibly never seen before, but again that is serialism.

This piece I think would come from a developed country such as Germany or Austria (but he is in fact french!) also as this kind of music didn't existed in othe parts of the globe at those times.
